I’m a speaker, trainer and coach on thriving workplaces.
My key role is to translate the latest research (from fields including Positive Psychology) into relatable strategies for organisations to empower their people and performance to thrive.
Having worked for a decade in the financial services industry including leading national sales teams, I understand what it’s like to be responsible for driving engagement, wellbeing and performance in the workplace. It was during this time that I discovered Positive Psychology when trying to find answers to my leadership questions.
In my practice, I have worked with over 1000 people from schools, not-for-profits and organisations across a range of industries both in Australia and overseas. I also teach undergraduate students at the University of Melbourne’s Centre for Wellbeing Science. Additionally, I am the Chair of the University of Melbourne’s MAPP student and alumni association and an expert content collaborator for Hodie, which teaches students and young people the human skills needed to survive in the workplace. I also advise organisations on their wellbeing initiatives as a subject matter expert including Puka Up’s app Alffie (alongside the University of Melbourne) and ANZ’s coaching capability framework (with Deakin Co.)
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, a Professional Certificate in Positive Psychology (First Class Honours) and a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology (First Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne. I am also accredited in the Strengths Profile diagnostic tool, and am a certified Organisational Coach and Mental Health First Aider.
I am committed to my own physical health and have taken part in four marathons, and was on my way to compete in the London Marathon in April 2020 when the coronavirus hit. In 2021 and 2022, the focus has and will be on the Gold Coast half marathon.
I’ve been interviewed for podcasts and radio, I write a regular blog called “For What It’s Worth” and have been invited to guest blog for a number of companies.
Above all, I love what I do. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching my clients learn, grow and thrive!
