I’m a speaker, trainer, coach and writer on workplace wellbeing.
My key role is to translate research from the science of wellbeing, Positive Psychology, into evidence-backed relatable strategies for organisations to enable their people and performance to thrive.
Having worked for a decade in the financial services industry including leading national sales teams, I understand what it’s like to manage teams and be responsible for improving engagement and performance in the workplace. It was during this time that I discovered Positive Psychology when trying to find answers to my leadership questions.
In my practice, I have worked with schools, not-for-profits and organisations across a range of industries including NAB, ANZ, PwC, BDO, CBRE, Russell Kennedy Lawyers, Vision Australia, The Alfred Hospital and Star of the Sea College, both in Australia and overseas (including teams in Hong Kong, Singapore, London and New York). I also teach undergraduate students at the University of Melbourne’s Centre for Positive Psychology. Additionally, I am the Chair of the University of Melbourne’s MAPP student and alumni association and an expert content collaborator for Hodie, which teaches students and young people the human skills needed to survive in the workplace.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, a Professional Certificate in Positive Psychology (First Class Honours) and a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology (First Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne. I am also accredited in the Strengths Profile diagnostic tool and am a certified Organisational Coach.
I am committed to my own physical health and have taken part in four marathons, and was on my way to compete in the London Marathon in April 2020 when the coronavirus hit. In 2021, the focus is on the Gold Coast half marathon.
I’ve been interviewed for podcasts and radio, I write a regular blog called “For What It’s Worth” and have been invited to guest blog for a number of companies.
Above all, I love what I do. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching my clients learn, grow and thrive!
